Medicine and Science tells us that workouts like: aerobics, martial-arts, cardio kickboxing, sports training, callisthenics, weight loss manoeuvres, etc;.. are best done in open or semi-open surroundings – a luxury most of us can share with me.
“Green Fitness” could well add to your longevity, help in long-term brain health, for your sleep, weight and stress management, strengthening muscles and bones, to name a few.
So what is green fitness? Simple – It’s working out in a natural, outdoor environment! You also connect with nature and happen to enjoy the awe and vastness above (sky) while working out your core – lying on the ground.
We need to proactively make time to experience the healing powers of nature – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. And don’t forget, green fitness also motivates you to exercise more by making you breathe fresh air.
I have been a strong advocate of green fitness for the past fifty-two years – so get onboard with me and feel the exhilarating experience!
